A bit odd. I get occasional issues with getting voicemail notifications (it says something like unsupported format). I'm using the Google Phone dialer, so I opened it, went to Settings > Voicemail and it says "Need to updated Google app." But, looking at my sandboxed Google Play, it claims everything's up-to-date. Any idea why the difference in opinion?

EDIT: I told Google Phone to update the app it was complaining about. It turns out to not be the dialer that it wants to update. Instead, it's "Speech Recognition & Synthesis" by Google LLC. Looking at the "Data Collected" section, it says it collects email address, device or other IDs, crash logs, diagnostics, and other app performance data, app interactions and installed apps. I guess that doesn't seem to bad. But, is this some kind of Google AI?

Can't edit my original post any more. Sorry. The notification I get is:

"Unsupported message type, call [T-mobile's voicemail number] to listen."
