What's up with aurora store?

The app often doesn't work,
when it does work, the apps I download don't work...none. Does anyone else have this experience?

D3r3k15rad Use sandboxed Google play, Accrescent or the apps on platforms like Github and Gitlab via Obtainium instead, Aurora (like F-Froid) works poorly and is not recommended at all due to major security issues like signature spoofing and account sharing, if you want apps that are only available via the play store, sandboxed Google play services works much better and is secure on GrapheneOS, sandboxed Google play services receives no privileged access.

Aurora made sense when sandboxed Google Play services weren't available, but today that's no longer the case and you can ditch Aurora.

Xtreix My Aurora works fine on the latest alpha. Must be something on OP's end.

I do as Xtreix said, in the order SideofBurritos showed on YouTube.

Buuut: I use Aurora for apps that only work by spoofing my device, four only.

Xtreix This is not a solution for everyone, some of us would like a phone as independent as possible from Google and Apple servers, which means, no play services.

Right now for me it's working fine, but around a week to two weeks ago, I also experienced instabilities, mainly, I couldn't connect through an anonymous account, I had to click multiple times before a session initiated.
