Phone call not working with new 5g or 4g only

When I activate 5g or 4g only incoming and outgoing calls do not work.
Same with 4g activation only
Outgoing calls hang up directly and incoming calls have no ringtone or even missed call notification later.
Calls work normally with 5g or 4g mode which are not only
I would like to know why or if this is a bug

Its because your carrier doesnt fully support it. If your using a non carrier device you will need to contact them if you want that enabled.

Boyz You need to enable VoLTE/VoNR (not sure if there are separate toggles, my carrier only has VoLTE support), to allow calls to be made over 4G/5G networks.
Your carrier might support it and enable it for your line but the toggle won't show anyway, in that case you can find some way to force enable it and it might work, though any method I'm aware of is insecure and inconvenient so I don't know if it's worth it.
