Duplicate file name bug

Hi All,

I think I found a bug.
I created a profile with sandboxed google play, installed yahoo mail app from google play, downloaded a pdf file from an e-mail two times and this is the result ( don't think I can attach images so I uploaded the screenshot somewhere else): https://oshi.at/mxRG/UbDM.png
The are duplicate file names in the same folder! In the image there are two but I can keep downloading it with the same filename multiple times....

Please advise.

Anybody? I downloaded the file another two times, same issue as you can see in the image. I also forwarded the file to the gmail app and downloaded it from there and it correctly appended " (1)" to the filename.
So it might have something to do with the mail app itself but how come the Android filesystem allows such a thing?

look at it with different file browser, i have cx file explorer. The filesystem should not allow this. it could be the files are in subfolders but Files shows flat

You were right. CX explorer shows the correct file names. Looks like this is an issue with the stock Files app.
