Battery drain by Ambient Display (system)

Hello,
what is Ambient Display and what does it? It drains a lot of battery on my device. Can i disable it? Thanks

@CrYpT999 gave you part of the answer. You'll want to adjust any of those settings on Lock Screen as the ambient display has to do with anything happening on the lock screen. Any idle audio/video playback could also impact that.

Also if you swipe down from the top of the screen twice, where you can access your control toggles ...at the bottom you'll see some options to push (settings, profiles etc) there will also be one with a number. That will list apps running on your device. You can try to end any them there, maybe something is just constantly running in the background that you can catch.

I believe that might be referring to the always on display, which always shows the time and date on your screen.
To disable Settings > Display > Lock screen > Always show time and info > Turn off
With it disabled, you screen will be completely black when you press the sleep/wake button.
You can turn on "tap to check phone" or "lift to check phone" to access the time and date when your phone is off.
To save more battery, turn off these options too.

CrYpT999 thank you. I dont have all ways on enabled. So i wondering why it drain so much battery. I disabled tap to check phone for now. Lift was already disabled.
