USB-C Earbuds Blocking Microphone

Hello,

I have a set of USB-C earbuds that work great. The only issue is that when I plug them in, I get a popup saying "Microphone is blocked." This is incredibly frustrating as when I go to record, instead of the recording working, the system instead asks me to unblock the microphone. This never happens with Bluetooth headphones or when no device is connected.

Is there a way to get rid of this feature? I am open to using Tasker if need be, but I can't even seem to find what the name for the setting is via Tasker (I can in fact find it under the "Permission Manager" whatever that is)

Does it help to launch Settings, type "microphone" in the search box, then check the settings that are found?

Doing this brings up the "Permission Manager" which seems to be psuedo app within Settings. I can't seem to change that using Tasker. I also don't want to have to open settings every time I plug in my earbuds.

I'd try to connect it and search settings for it mentioned above under the owner profile - if already not done yet... Just guessing tbh.
