Since the last one or two weeks (can't really say if it's due to a new release or something) I noticed, that when I close all Vanadium incognito tabs through the "close all incognito tabs" notification sometimes the phone becomes unresponsive for 1-2 seconds with a notification pill at the bottom of the screen stating "Processing notification". The incognito tabs are opened by a Incognito Tab shortcut on the homescreen, but I don't seem to find a way to reliably reproduce this behaviour, but since I do nearly all my browsing this way it happened few times last week.

Did anyone else here ever encounter this? I searched for "processing notification" and "close all incognito tabs" on this forum but didn't find an answer. Also if this is a known bug/upstream issue just let me know and close this topic, thanks.

faxe You're not alone! I've been encountering this behaviour since yesterday, and it began once I updated to the latest Vanadium release, 134.0.6998.39.0 Stable. Like how you described, closing Incognito tabs via the "Close all Incognito tabs" notification causes the home screen / launcher to hang for several seconds. Swipe attempts are met with a "Processing Notification" notification pill.

After some experimentation, it seems that this behaviour is only occurring when Vanadium has first been closed, without closing Incognito tabs first. If I have Vanadium open, and tap the "Close all Incognito tabs" notification, there's no issue. If I go to the home screen, leaving Vanadium open, also no issue when tapping the notification.

However, if Vanadium is open, and I close Vanadium by way of tapping "Close all" in the app switcher, then tap the "Close all Incognito tabs" notification, this issue presents itself, causing the home screen and app launcher to hang with "Processing Notification" appearing.
