Recovering Pixel 6 with Broken Screen

Hey,

I have found my old Pixel 6 and want to reuse it. I tried using the rescue mode with the pixelrepair page to reset it, but I don't have the developer mode enabled and with a completely black screen on a phone with pin scrambling enabled, I don't know how I would enable it.

I know I can restart the phone into fastboot by holding power + volume down for some time and I made a few pictures for the different options with another phone.

Is there a way to mirror the screen without using developer mode?

dm-0 Depending on the configuration of the USB-C port, it might be possible to type the PIN with an external keyboard.

But I don't believe Pixel 6 devices have hardware to generate video over USB-C.

I don't think you'll be able to achieve it via hardware only.. If you have such an option you can try to plug a usb-c to the phone and compatible monitor to see if it would work, but I doubt pixels have such functionality..

This is correct. I believe it was P8 when they added DP.

Thanks for the clarification. I tried to use a keyboard, but without any feedback from the phone, there was no way to see if it worked. With a locked bootloader, the only option left seems to be a replacement screen.
