Hi, im using grapheneos for the first time and i notices that my internet connection is slow because I have H+ inteas of 5G. In settings the 5G options is activated but as i said before it doesnt work. The phone was purchased in Google Store in Spain. ¿Can someone help my improving internet connectoon?

Your internet connection is reliant upon a multitude of different things.

  1. your phone must be capable of 5G
  2. your phone supplier has to enable 5G
  3. you must be in an area that has a 5G signal
    your phone may even show 5G in the display and you get slow speeds.
    if, and its up to you, if you install an app 'Privacy cell' it will inform you what type network you are connected too.
    I used it and found my 5G was not 5G but an amalgamation of 4G and other services.
    I then uninstalled the app changed my settings to 4G only or LTE only dependent on what is displayed and my speed increased. My phone is 5G but because of the unreliable nature of what 5G actually comprises of, I don't select it.
