I convinced my main squeeze to use GOS, but she has violent withdrawal symptoms if she can't easily search and paste GIFs from the keyboard app into the SMS/MMS app.

Gboard seems to be the only decent keyboard to do this, and I can't find a F/OSS keyboard with the functionality. When Gboard is used on the GOS stock messaging app, the GIF button is greyed out and prompts that "this app does not support images here".

Anyone know why this is?
