When in settings if I search for "airplane" it shows me this:

But when I look under network and internet it is clearly off:

I looked under "Network and internet > Internet", as per the first image but there does not appear to be another Airplane mode switch there so I am wondering why it says Airplane mode is on and shows a location for the setting it does no appear to be or if I am missing something else.

(I hope the links work. first time I am trying postimg... and first time posting here)

smjohnston When in settings if I search for "airplane" it shows me this:

Looks like some hardcoded string that probably isn't programmed to change depending on whether airplane mode is enabled or not.

Assuming it is... to return the incorrect state of a setting and indicating a location to find the setting where the setting is not actually found... seems... not good.

It is saying "Airplane mode is on" and indicates the location to find it as "Network & internet > Internet"

and neither of those things appear to be accurate... which leaves me confused and still feeling like there is something going on in the background with I either do not yet understand or is not working properly.

I should probably be looking for a developers forum to ask there.

smjohnston this is just a poor wording (and probably not changeable as said in a previous post) in the menu. If you look up at the statusbar you could clearly establish that you are not in airplane mode with plane icon missing and signal strength showing.
