Anybody using this [https://f-droid.org/repo/com.gtp.showapicturetoyourfriend_5.apk](https://) app? Does it weaken the device security when used? seems useful, would be nice to have this functionality thru the OS itself.

Why would you use an app for this (especially a 6 year out of date app)? Just use the native app pinning feature to pin a gallery app which only has access (via storage scopes) to a specific folder where you can put images that you want to show people.

Dumdum well I'd use it for what it's offering, as the scheme you offer isn't quiet as usable imo. Needing to demonstrate id to some unknown authority, and not having the original in possession at the moment.

I find it pretty useful. have no idea why its abandoned, and want to know if it might elevate any risks? is device more vulnerable while this app is doing its thing?

thanks for advice, i have not used/learned what app pinning is yet, but i think have an idea, and will give it some attention..
