InsaneNutter For anyone who has used this for a while, do you have to scan your fingerprint every time with Curve?

Yes and I really like this behaviour. Before GrapheneOS I had an Oppo Reno2 with Android 11 and there was no way to tell GPay to allow contactless payments only in unlocked mode, so I made a rule in Tasker to turn off NFC when the phone is locked.
First time making a Curve payment positively surprised me, contactless payment with locked phone, but fingerprint to grant a payment, that's what I always wanted. It's the perfect mixture of security and comfort.

Hey guys,

Successfully used Curve on my GrapheneOS Pixel 10 pro.
I live in the Netherlands and used ING Bank debet card.
I followed this discussion thread carefully and followed your instructions, for which I thank you all.

Android 17 will change a lot and I can imagine that solutions like GrapheneOS will not make use of Android 17.
But is it possible that Google will prohibit GrapheneOS from existing because they consider Android to be their property?

My expectation is that the GrapheneOS team will ship the Android 17 AOSP code base once Google releases it. AOSP generally does not contain all exciting features of Google's stock OS.

"It's difficult to make predictions, especially about the future."

Google could hypothetically stop issuing new releases of AOSP, but they can't retract code that was already released under an open-source license.

I am also on Pixel 10 Pro and I can't make it work unfortunately, I tried all the tricks/steps from this discussion, no luck. I wonder if it the newest version implemented some additional checks. Could you share what is the version worked for you?

I wonder also if it makes a difference that I am an old client of Curve as I already used it on my old phone + I have physical card since one year or so. I would recreate my account but I am not sure this would help. I tried to delete my virtual card and add new one. No luck again. I see the message "Something went wrong". Intersecting is that Curve is already selected as NFC payment but I guess this won't work of not enabled from the app.

The reason you’ve been unable to add your card is because as of the 8th February 2023, new customers are no longer able to add non-UK/EEA Visa cards to their Curve account. This is so we remain compliant with new Visa rules.
