I just got a brand new pixel 6a yesterday. I installed graphene using the web installer on my Linux laptop. Everything went smooth. Only problem is I cant receive calls at all. Texts are fine and I can make calls. I checked the APN settings and fixed them. They were a little different than cricket suggests.

I'm not 100% sure I'm going to keep a sim in this phone, but until then I'd like to be able to figure out the problem.

landry9000 I don't have cricket, I have TextNow's free SIM card, for emergencies more than anything else.

I can make calls out, I can send texts out, I can receive texts, but incoming calls never ring for me. I just get a missed call notification and have to call them back. I figured it was just TextNow's service since I have to use their app with the free SIM card, but now I'm not so sure..

I was thinking about getting the text now sim also for one of my two phones. If I do that and use the text now sim in my pixel, I wouldn't be as worried about the incoming calls not working.

Have a phone for security and daily ease of use (iPhone xr) , and use my pixel purely for privacy.

OK so I went through it again. I went through it once before. As I was going through it a second time to make sure I didn't miss anything, a call actually came in. I had the phone unlocked and in my hand at home and I have wifi-calling enabled. I'm going to have someone call me and see of its working with WiFi off.
I'll give another update later on. Other than tweaking the APN a little, the only other thing I did was reboot the phone.

I'm still not 100℅ sure how I'm going to use the device anyway just yet. I have a jailbroken iPhone xr that I've been using as my daily for the past couple years. The screen is cracked on it currently. And to continue being jailbroken, I have to keep it on iOS 14.x. Since that phone already has all my banking and important stuff on on it, I've been tethering to this pixel. I'm just worried about this security of the iPhone now that my ios version is getting older.

My thought process is to keep the pixel as secure as possible, zero accounts the same as on my iPhone, use mostly web apps and bookmarks. I got the pixel so I can update my iPhone and unjailbreak it, BC jail breaking isnt needed on my iPhone now that I have an android again.

Basically I want the iPhone for security and ease of use and the pixel with graphene for privacy.

I'm dealing with this exact same issue on Cricket. Was wondering if you got anywhere with this. I've gone through the carrier functionality page a few times and am still stuck. I try to make a call and it immediately ends, calls don't come in. Texts are hit and miss.
