Typing behaviour in ONLYOFFICE - press space twice

When I type in ONLYOFFICE, I have to press the spacebar and certain punctuation twice before it registers.

I don't have this issue with other typing spaces, and I have tried multiple keyboards

The app devs are unable to replicate the issue on any keyboard on stock OS.

Has anyone else run into this?

I also can't backspace over multiple characters in Collabora Office. It feels like word processing is a bit broken.

They need to test with AOSP keyboard or a lightly modified fork of it, of which there are many.

It's not broken. We use a very lightly modified fork of the standard AOSP keyboard. If apps don't work with that, the apps have bugs. There have consistently been these kinds of apps in multiple apps. It even impacted the Compose framework as a whole early on before it was fixed.

GrapheneOS thanks for the reply. Do you know if anyone else has tested Collabora or OnlyOffice? It sounds like maybe this is a known issue with these programs?

Is there another FOSS word processor / document editor that GrapheneOS users are using?
