Keeping a Vanadium tab from timing-out

I read that 'run in background' has to be activated for apps to not time-out.

(I don't like apps because they often require too many permissions.)

I listen to my rdio (scanner) instance via the Vanadium browser on my GrapheneOS Pixel.

I'm guessing there may be a way to turn 'run in background' on for Vanadium -

but that doesn't seem to be a wise choice.

Is there a way to isolate that permission/setting to a specific Vanadium tab

(e.g. rdio)?

(I'm also asking on the rdio forum.)

Is there anything here re. (PWA) that might facilitate that?

I read a thread on this forum about PWA but it's unclear, to me, how to implement that.
