Problems with notifications using Signal

I don't recive sufficient notifications when receiving a new message in Signal on an up-to-date Pixel 8a. The display on my iPhone went on and it vibrated. None of this works on GrapheneOS. I get a silent lockscreen notification, but no vibration or flashing display. Can someone help me?

inoigjig things to turn on:
Settings > Lock screen > Wake screen for notification
(optional)
Settings > Apps > Special app access > Full-screen notifications > Signal (Molly) > Allow

Also in App info set all Messages, Calls and other important notification channels from silent to default.

The reason why I wasn't notified when a new message came in was that I had the wrong silent mode enabled (the one with the crossed loudspeaker instead of the 'virbrating phone' one).
