USB-size mobile stick for GrapheneOS

Hi,

I’m currently working on a project where I’m developing a compact, USB-stick-sized smart device, and I plan to port GrapheneOS as the operating system for it. As you may know, GrapheneOS currently only supports Google Pixel devices, which makes it hardware-dependent. The new device I’m working on will use an MTK (MediaTek) chipset, and given that many of GrapheneOS’s features are tightly integrated with Google Pixel hardware, the porting effort is quite significant.

I’d like to inquire if there are any plans for GrapheneOS to support additional devices or chipsets in the future, particularly those based on non-Google hardware, like MediaTek. This would be incredibly helpful for the community, and I’m sure many would appreciate the flexibility it would bring.

MediaTek has a bad reputation for security and has been historically focused on low end devices without proper updates. They've recently been trying to shift towards the high end market but we're highly skeptical about their ability to provide a reasonable level of security and long term support for their products.
