Persistent "Looking for Android Auto" notification

I've installed AA in my Private Space. In the last week, I have begun receiving new notifications from AA that can not be silenced (Looking for Android Auto).

I've wiped cache/storage, uninstalled, installed, nothing will resolve this. I have a Ford vehicle, but the vehicle is not on, nor is it in close proximity to me. The notification persists. Any help would be great. My next step is probably going to be to complete wipe my phone and start fresh, but I'd obviously prefer to not do that.

I've deleted my Private Space entirely (this was a PITA), and had my fingers crossed that the issue would resolve.

Unfortunately, after first connect/disconnect, the "Looking for Android Auto" notification remains persistent. And I am fairly certain that it is draining my battery in the background since when this issue first arose, the battery's been noticeably worse.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know how I resolved it, but I did, until the recent update had my reboot, and now it's back and unfixable.
