There is a feature that has been asked for much longer and more frequently than any other. Auto record calls. Let's do this finally. Name the number for dev. We'll fund it to be done as neatly and tiny as can be done for future support!! We are it.

It has the comment "Details will be discussed internally for now."

HIghQualityH2o You state this as if it's an absolute no-brainer that this "auto record calls" feature should be implemented. To me, this is something that's extremely low priority and should remain in the backlog. I can think of many things that are more important from a privacy and security perspective.

I'm very thankful that the project has their own strategic roadmap.

We are focusing on higher priority tasks and will not be addressing this any time in the near future. Perhaps it may seem like a simple addition, implementing it correctly could/would introduce unforeseen complexity. And, well, since call recording is already available in the Dialer app, expanding on this feature kinda isn’t a justifiable use of time and resources when higher priority features remain in development. I mean, we would maybe consider an external contribution, provided it meets our standards for code quality, maintainability, and overall design.

On another note, curious as to who you mean by "We'll fund it"? Are you representing another business or project or organization of some sorts? Or did you mean in general?
