Hi all
new GOS user on Pixel 7 here. Could someone help me troubleshoot wifi issues please, i'm getting really poor conectivity. On wifi I get, viewing settings get transmit speed 360 Mbps, receive link speed 6 Mbps. A speedchecker says I get 10.5 Mbps. By comparison, my old Galaxy S10 with LineageOS gets a download speed of 106 (using the same checker), and my laptop (Lenovo X1 Carbon running Linux Mint) get 106 Mbps. They are both conencting over wifi, and the download speed is in line with what my ISP gives me.
Resetting network conenctions has no effect and rebooting the device has no effect either. I thought this resolved it yesterday but it didnt, and I marked a previous post as Solved for that reason
Searching further this might be the issue where "routers are unable to accept new clients once their DHCP table is full instead of clearing the last recently used entry. You can work around this by manually clearing the DHCP table via the router administration page and can switch to the per-network randomized MAC mode to avoid triggering the issue again" This is the issue documented at https://grapheneos.org/usage#wifi-privacy-associated
but i switched my Pixel to use per network randomised Mac and the performance hit persists. My router (a modern and powerful nanopi R4S running OpenWRT) doesnt show any more active leases than would be expected. I tried setting the Pixel, like everything else to a static IP. No joy there either. This router uses a Draytek Vigor 902 Wifi AP, running the latest firmware. Although this doesn't do wifi6, it is still enterprise grade kid designed to handle lots of connections.
Can anyone help me troubleshoot this please?
