Something I find annoying

I've been using GrapheneOS for about 3 months now on Pixel6 and Pixel Tablet. There is a feature that is driving me nuts. There is this little bar at the bottom of the screen that shows apps when I scroll up from the bottom(not the app drawer). Every time I try to open my app drawer or use navigation gestures(like previous screen/app) it is in the way. I have been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out how to disable it.

Today I tried to change the "system > gesture" to 3 button navigation and it broke. It displays the apps and 3 button navigation on top of each other and none of it works. I had to switch it back. I tried to screenshot it, but couldn't.

How do I remove it?

Xarcell when you use fullscreen gestures and you swipe up from the gesture pill, that invokes recents screen. Try swiping up anywhere above the gesture pill on the homescreen for app drawer. It's just how gesture navigation works.
