Play Integrity API usage: Should I block it?

My ChatGPT app keeps using the Play Integrity API. Should I block it? What could the ramifications of blocking it be? Will it not let me use the app if I do? How can I unblock it if I need to?

Creature rylabs Blocking it is only intended as a potential workaround for apps which ban GrapheneOS users based on it but do not enforce having it yet. There's a decent chance blocking it will stop the app working if they require it but don't ban GrapheneOS users with it since they only check for basic integrity or just send it for figuring out if it's the stock OS and unmodified app later on without enforcing anything from it.

I have the same question. In my case it's Uber that took a peek at the Play Integrity API. And I rely on it because of frequent international travel I have to do for work. I'm thrilled at the idea of blocking it, but that could really put me in some tough spots.
