Pixel 8a in Fastboot not detected by Arch Linux

Hi Everyone,

I have a pixel 8a I am attempting to install graphene os on from a laptop with arch linux. When the phone is booted normally, it is detected by Arch. However, after enabling developer mode, enabling OEM unlocking and USB debugging, then booting to fastboot, it is not detected by Arch. Both fasboot devices and adb devices do not return anythingI have installed Android android-tools android-udev as well as updated adb and fastboot so both are v35.

I am at a loss on where to go and any help is appreciated.

Maybe something with your user not in the udev group or something regarding user permissions.

What browser do you use ?

I'm going through the cli It isn't detected in the browser flow either

Unbelievable using a USB-C <-> USB-C instead of C->A resolved this.
