Exciting! I thought it didn't work at first, but I had to set it as the default launcher for the private space to appear.

Are you guys talking about private space or work profile? because I can only see work profile, no private space even after setting it as default launcher

Do you have a way to prevent the app closing animation from glitching out or is that something you just live with? It looks awful to me and I'd rather use the default launcher.

Yes, this is unusable for me, as any other 3rd party launcher, due to the closing animation primarily.
I think you need root for quickswitch in order to solve that issue.
But since I would never consider root, seems ill be stuck with stock forever. Sadly though 😢

      Plobberfroth thank you it worked.

private space apps appeared on my work profile, pausing and unpausing the work profile fixed it.
There's also a bug where unpausing work profile incorrectly prompts for private space unlock, which can be dismissed to keep it locked

Yes, I completely agree, half-assed effort, I would stick with stock, despite it having too small icons for my eyesight. The closing animation of Lawnchair and the likes is an embarrassment. I mean if you can’t do it right, why do it at all?
I wonder how it doesn’t seem to bother most people 🤷🏻
I could never live with it.

I don't have any animation glitches, probably as I'm on stock on my p8

populate2547 Not sure I understand what is meant by closing animation. I have the latest Lawnchair 15 dev version and I have no visual issues at all. Pixel 7 with latest GrapheneOS.

What did work for me is disable animations, although that probably is not advised by GrapheneOS itself, since disabling animations comes with some bugs (upstream issue).

the only issue is that hiding the private space doesnt work, but this seems to be an upstream issue in AOSP that affects ALL 3rd party launchers

ToughDBlue That's pretty much impossible and has always been the case since the earliest days of lawnchair. Even though some releases got the issue more or less under control, it's night and day from stock and unusable by most sensible users.
I did try the lastest 15 beta, and the gliches are still there. You either got too much used to it, or you choose to ignore it unknowingly.

LE: maybe you didn't pay close attention, what I and others pointed out was the bugged animation when one swipes up from the bottom to close an app. The smooth transition of re-entering the Alladin lamp is borked to say it gently. :)
This was always the case, but people say 100% stock experience is achieved when using quickswitch (requires root).

Ive just realised Lawnchair doesn't hide private space and apparently this is common with other 3rd party launchers.
