Dutch contactless payment

Any Dutch GOS user here who managed to use contactless payment? I'm aware that you can't use GPay on GOS for contactless payment and that it requires a bank to develop their own method. But, all the big Dutch banks I know either phased out their own contactless payment (ING, ASN, Rabo) or simply used GPay from the get go.

I haven't tried it myself, but I think Curve pay could be an option.

dreamland Just to be clear, I won't ever use GPay either. My question was more about which banks I can use for contactless payment in GOS since GPay is out of the options (either due to GOS limitation or your preference).

ING just worked until they decided to push everyone to Google pay. So i quit using that.

I wasn't planning on using Google Pay even if it worked, this is not even the sour grapes fallacy at work.
When you look at ING's unfortunate wording for the terms and conditions of their partnership with Google you can see that Google gets full and unconditional to your payment data to use however they wish. I do not trust a data brokerage firm with that information.

Banks are usually strongly regulated on their allowed means to collect, process and monetize your personal information. A cynical reading of this change is that they're using Google as a loophole in order to market this merchandise by other means outside of their responsibility.
Whether it's objectionable in your case, you be the judge.

Unfortunately not Dutch, but as far as I know there are few general options available currently:

iCard (read here, not tested myself, but could be easy to use)
Curve (a lot of discussion is going on here)

Personally I'm using Curve at the moment. But to be able to use NFC with it without connecting it to Google, it has to be installed from the Huawei App Gallery in a Google-free profile. Additionally the HMS Core (Huawei Mobile Services) have to be installed from the Huawei App Gallery.

Curve announced they will enable Curve Pay for all Android users in the future, so it might be possible that it can be installed independently from the Huawei App Gallery some day.
