Has anyone managed to get Google Find My Device's network working on GrapheneOS? It doesn't seem to do anything when I enable it and just errors at the bottom with "Something went wrong" and resets to the 2nd option, being without network.

Specifically this feature for those wondering: https://9to5google.com/2024/06/26/google-find-my-device-work-everywhere-instructions/

Not too sure where I'd look for in logs to see if there are any errors, but I don't get any sandboxed Google Play error messages/notifications. Would be nice for this to work.

It doesn't work as far as i know unfortunately.

i used to be an android engineer for a 3rd-party security and privacy focused-OS with terrible leadership (they still suck).

what project did you work for?

Actually you can try search find my device on the forum and you'll have a bunch of people trying to figure it out. Maybe it works somehow.

I did try for a bit, but I kept on finding posts about Google Find My Device alternatives which wasn't what I was looking for. I guess I can look closer.
