I have GrapheneOS on my google pixel 8 since March 2024 and recently I have having issues with SMS messages.
Prior to today, I did not have any issues but I noticed that SMS messages are delayed for at least 20 minutes. I noticed this when waiting for an authentication code for online banking and my university login. I would click the button on my laptop to send the code to my phone, and usually it would come within seconds, but now the message comes at least 30 minutes after sending the code to my phone. This also happens when trying to authenticate by call, where the voicemail containing the code arrived 20 minutes later. I tested this by using my mom's phone to send me a message and it came 40 minutes after I sent it.
I restarted the phone but the status is the same. I was wondering if anyone has any advice or suggestions regarding this situation. I have both the Messaging app that comes with GrapheneOS as well as SMS messager app from simple mobile tools.
