Play Store "Couldn't Update" already updated apps

I sometimes get this intermittent error where the Play Store shows an error that some apps couldn't be updated, but, in fact, they already are up to date. Does anyone else have this issue? Is this due to some GrapheneOS quirks?

The message is in the Updates section and it eventually goes away on its own.

No, you're not alone with this problem, I have the same issue.

It took me a good amount of time to find this discussion thread, doesn't seem to be a big problem I guess, but I hope it fixes itself soon.

I've definitely had this happen. I haven't been able to pin down any reason. I was thinking it was happening when I wasn't leaving Play store running in the foreground, but I'm not sure as it seems to work in the background sometimes at least.

I also have this problem. Had it a few times long time ago and now again. Tried clearing Play Store cache but didn't help. I guess the apps that show as "couldn't update" will disappear once they will have another update?
