Hi all,

I anticipate that this is a long shot and I will probably not be able to find a solution but just wanted to report that the remote start function for Toyota app is not working. This is designed to start plug in hybrid Toyota cars to be started remotely with heating, defrosting, etc. Disabling VPN, disabling "Pause app activity if unused", enabling "Display over other apps" and exploit protection compatibility mode, disabling hardened memory allocator and extended virtual address space does not help. When attempted, remote start fails with an error message stating vehicle connectivity should be checked, but the vehicle is connected and information about its battery, mileage, etc. can be seen. Thank you for your time and suggestions if any.

hakayova my only and wild guess: do you have network permission for Play Services AND Play Store enabled? If yes, can you just try toggling other permissions for Play Services to see if it works?

Thank you for the suggestion. Network permission is the only one granted for Play Services AND Play Store at the moment. I need to think about if it is worth granting other permissions to them just for this purpose. There is a reason why I use GrapheneOS I think 😉, but I truly appreciate your idea, it does make sense.
