Pixel fingerprint scanner recalibration paranoia

Hello, recently i dropped my phone and its screen, even though black, cracked.. I replaced it, and now i need to recalibrate the display fingerprint scanner by connecting my phone via usb to a computer with chrome installed. For this endevour, i would also need to unlock the OEM.

Because google sometimes feels like a boogeyman and i, nor probably you know what stunts it could pull while "recalibrating" my fingerprint scanner, would i still be safe to refuge in the fact that if my os were to be altered, the boot hash would change?

that's not true and all further fears are based on that assumption. You can calibrate the scanner without problems independent of the OS. The calibration tool also has no way to alter the OS itself. If you want to be sure, just compare the boot key hash and perform a (remote) verification through Auditor.
For the calibration to actually work, you will likely need to repeat the calibration process twice in a row (the code is buggy). Also, make sure that you select the calibration (the UI is bad on the website) which is located at the bottom of the page. The prominently visible button is for flashing software and should not be used.
