Screenshot - override the app

I'm having a problem with a banking app. So their app developers want the exact error message. Rather than remember some, type into the message, go back and repeat, I wanted to take a screenshot. At this point I am not logged into the account. This is the problem, so no personal or financial details are displayed.
But I am not allowed, because apparently the app is allowed to make the rules about what I do on my phone, with my finances. If I want a statement then I have to download and access the whole thing, screenshotting the relevant details, in another app, before doing as I wish. So the sharing of details is not prevented, and actually costs them because they have to make the statement etc available to the download side. The "security" achieves nothing.
It is not for them to make that decision on my behalf. I wouldnt mind if a waiver was available. Is there, or will there be, a way to override this needless stupidity, without having to use another phone or app to get it?
This likely affects other apps as well.

PaulDavis there's an open issue for adding the option to ignore this: https://github.com/GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker/issues/664

Please note that the developers prefer people not to leave comments in the issue tracker asking for updates or stating that a feature is wanted or important. The feature is already labeled with a priority, meaning that they want the feature sometime in the future. If GrapheneOS users want to show that they want a specific feature, they can use the reactions feature (give it a 👍) on GitHub.

PaulDavis what happens if you record your screen? Some apps smart enough to block screenshots but aren't smart enough to block screen record. You could then screenshot the screen-recording .

I used the search box at the top of the screen to make sure I wasn't duplicating. Nothing showed. I don't use github.
However, I was also asking for a possible work around, whilst the option was not available, which is something a feature request will not achieve.

Good idea, but it only captured the error box.
Whilst that solved the initial problem, I still had a black screen behind it. So the app still blocks it even if you are not logged in, which is wrong.
It works on the website, so that blows all of their security concerns out of the window.
What might be the problem generally is that they have now screwed up working with GOS with the latest update. Will make contact with the developers later

nunyo WhatsApp will block both screenshotting and video recording the screen. Not WhatsApp's business what I do with my phone. Though, some here have disagreed.
