rclemmer When an app has the message "App was denied access" does that mean that app should probably not be trusted? I tried to install the Fossify messages app and the message came up. https://www.androidauthority.com/android-15-restricted-settings-sideloading-3481098/
DeletedUser69 rclemmer it means app needs access to restricted settings in App Info > Top right three dots > Allow restricted settings
akc3n rclemmer When an app has the message "App was denied access" does that mean that app should probably not be trusted Restricted settings for said app may be changed to allow access. See https://support.google.com/android/answer/12623953#allowrestrictedsettings Open the Settings > Apps > App Name (or See all apps) > More menu (three dots) > Allow restricted settings
DeletedUser69 rclemmer you should be mindful of the permissions you grant the app. It can all go downhill from there...
Probably9857 rclemmer This is a relatively new thing. Accessing SMS is now considered restricted. If you are getting this from an SMS app, that is entirely expected. Nothing to be alarmed about.
