android auto apps detection.

I have trouble detecting apps on android auto.
i installed, configured it.. gave all the permission.
i have enabled android auto developper mode and have enabled unknown sources in the settings.
however there are some apps not shown in the dash screen.. mainly a navigation app called tomtom amigo. all the apps are installed using aurora store.

I tested in stock samsung phone provided by workplace and i have tomtom amigo available.

is there a way i can troubleshoot why this or other app is not visible on AA on a GOS on a pixel 6?

Apps are only visible if installed from Google Play, as far as I'm aware.

I had the same problem until I created a Google burner account and downloaded the apps I wanted to use with Android auto through the play store.

I believe it's a Google verification requirement and not a Graphene issue.

that is not it. I install all the apps via aurora, obtanium and in my AA i have whatsapp and qobuz available but not tomtom amigo.
on the samsung i tried, I also installed via aurora and i have not enabled unknown sources or anything and i can see the app in AA.

I just downloaded Waze for my navigation through Aurora Store and it shows up on Android Auto so I'm not sure why some apps work and some don't however I have had more apps work via the Play Store than other methods. It's good to know others are looking into this too.
