Missing wallpaper

I've noticed graphene is starting to not display my wallpaper and instead opt for a gray background. I've checked the settings and my wallpaper is still set there. So I changed back to the default launcher to see if it was Niagara laumchers fault and the issue is persisting.

Bunny0119 does it work if you set the wallpaper again?

Unless I'm mistaken, GrapheneOS has made little to no changes to the code that would affect wallpapers, so any bugs you may experience are almost certainly upstream AOSP bugs.

The latest big quarterly update fixed a big issue with wallpapers. My guess is there are still bugs with it. GrapheneOS developers are usually busy with other work and don't get the chance to fix minor upstream bugs that may be fixed anyway.

Bunny0119 We don't change how wallpapers work. It should work fine if you set it through one of the standard OS methods. Maybe you're setting it from an app that's doing it incorrectly. Try using the standard OS theme configuration menu rather than the Gallery app or another app if you're not using the main UI for it. It's also possible the image you're setting isn't in a supported format. The extension might be wrong.
