Hi,
i'm a new user on GrapheneOs. I'm asking for help.
I prepared a Pixel 6a for a young boy with two profiles set up: one for administration and one for current use by the boy.
I have a malfunction that I cannot solve:
Aurora store opens but does not load any data, and the search function causes the app itself to crash and close.
The problem is the same on both profiles.
Here the specs:
Pixel 6a with Android 15 build 2024121200
Here the result of adb logcat command from a linux pc:

After some research on the web, seems to me I am the only one have this problem.
Thanks for help!

Hi Enrico, I installed Aurora store on same and newer releases as you mentioned, can share my steps:

    1. Installed the .apk via Vanadium from the Gitlab address: https://gitlab.com/auroraoss/aurorastore or used Obtainium with the same address.
    2. App asks to allow at least the Required permissions for the app at the first start (Welcome screen):
      a) Installer permission to install from unknown sources
      b) External Storage Manager: you can use Storage scopes and allow access only to Downloads folder or create subfolder there and allow access only there.

      Hi,
      Thank you for answer.
I followed your instructions but unfortunately the behavior of aurora store is the same: not loading data and crashing on search.
      Installed version: 4.6.4 with Obtanium
      Any ideas?
      Thank you!

Which exploit protection settings do you have enabled for the app? You can see this in the app detail settings (in Android, not inside the app itself)

Are you using a VPN? I suddenly had the search crash and trying Aurora with VPN disabled solved the issue, not sure why.

rshadow1980 It's crashing on my Pixel 7 also. Tried disabling the VPN but that didn't help.

I have the same problem with Aurora 4.6.4 on my Pixel 8. Disabling the VPN solved it, then I found I can just disable Proton VPN's NetShield Ad-blocker setting and keep the VPN enabled.

It works again now. Thank you both for the suggestions.

Disabling the Proton VPN NetShield Ad-blocker is what was needed. Thank you for your help.
