E-transfer

As a fellow Canadian e-transfer is a convenient way for me to donate.

I do not use e transfer at all. I'm just wondering what kind of information it gives out. I do not use a bank I use a 'fin tech' service but doesn't let me change much of my e-transfer info. I just don't really like handing out information but it's arguably the best way to get money without fees.

On the recipients end, it will only display:

<Your Name> sent you $xxx.00 (CAD)

Thank you for the reply. So I should be able to just change my name then. I have a very unique name and I hate how I have to be so precautions.

DeletedUser63 Change your name? I can't imagine why or how a bank would allow you to do so.
