New Sim card not connecting to network (Magti and Cellfie in Georgia)

I have a problem where a new sim card is not connecting to the network. I have tried two different carriers with no luck, yet they both work in spare phones i have.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Theycallmejeff It would probably be useful to provide more information, such as the identities of the carriers, and exactly what happens when each SIM is inserted. Also, the GrapheneOS build number might be relevant.

GrapheneOS build number is 2024121200
Carriers are Magti and Cellfie, I have moved to Georgia from Australia.
Previous carrier was Telstra in Australia..
SIM status is no service.
Sim slot 1 phone number unknown.
Mobile data recognizes the Cellfie and Magti Sim's but has no connection.

Some more-common things to look out for:

In some situations disabling 2G breaks cellular service, so see if enabling 2G helps
Some carriers may reject certain phone types based on the IMEI not matching their supported-device list
If Google doesn't sell Pixels in a particular country then GrapheneOS can't include carrier-specific settings from Google's carrier-settings database (because there aren't any)
As indicated in the GrapheneOS documentation, resetting cellular settings may help
It may be necessary to engage carrier tech support
