WhatsApp issues with MTE?

I've seen reports of WhatsApp crashing when MTE is enabled on Pixel 8 or above. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? Please provide logs as well so the issue can be reported.

If people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp, they can report the issue and share the logs with them.

People are more than free to share logs if they want, but keep in mind that logs may include private information that they may not want to share. Please keep that in mind. If people don't want to share logs, but have had such crashes, it may also be helpful to say so here.

Adding on to that. If MTE logs are to be shared with WhatsApp, it's likely beneficial to not just send them the brief initial crash log you get by tapping on "More info" in the notification from memory tagging, but send them the full stacktrace that you can view and save by selecting "More info" one more time.

When memory tagging on GrapheneOS crashes an app, the user can select "More info" in the notification, and then select "More info" in the screen that appears, which will show the tombstone with the option to save it.
