akc3n Feyli1x5 Which provider are you trying to use? They should have a guide on how to go about it as well.
trashaccount Feyli1x5 Just download this: ProtonVPN Then install it. Moderator notice: Replaced link with the one that leads to the download page instead of directly downloading a specific version.
FlipSid trashaccount I would never install a .apk with unclear heritage. Instead you can go here, directly from the recommended ones homepages: https://www.ivpn.net/en/apps-android/ Or https://mullvad.net/en/download/vpn/android Or https://protonvpn.com/en/download-android But other than that I don't know what the problem is with installing @FFeyli1x5 ?!
FlipSid Dumdum Thank you very much for the education, I didn't know that :) trashaccount never mind, I was wrong :)
Dumdum FlipSid would never install a .apk with unclear heritage. What's "unclear heritage" about a Github repo with "Official ProtonVPN android app" and the official website link attached to it? The same Github repo that is officially stated on their website?
DeletedUser69 FlipSid how exactly does the above link have unclear heritage? It points to their GitHub (long tap the link) site and installation can be easily proved genuine by AppVerifier.
FlipSid Dumdum DeletedUser69 Well, if it is clear to you guys good, it wasn't and isn't clear to me. All I see is Vanadium asking me if I want to download an .apk. So if anyone cares to show me how to see it. I'm curious.
Dumdum FlipSid You can long-press the link (like you would if you want to copy it) and at the top of the box is the link address, which you can tap to show the full thing. You can then see that its from github.com/ProtonVPN/android-app.
trashaccount FlipSid I was trying to make it easy for them. Of course, i understand why it might have looked sus.
