I'm not exactly sure how this works for work profiles, but you can use secondary profiles for this.
So you'd:
- Create a secondary user profile
- Install GSF, Google Camera and Google Photos in that secondary profile.
- Snap your pictures or videos.
At this point, you have your photos in the secondary user profile, and you need to move them to your owner profile.
The best way I've found to do this is to simply connect a flash drive to your phone, move the photos in there, and then switch to the owner profile and place them there.
Other than that, you could use Cryptomator to have an encrypted vault with your photos, and upload that to whatever cloud storage provider you use, which would then allow you to easily access your photos across profiles.
Part of the strong isolation that secondary user profiles provide is that data like your photos are not shared between them.
