I end up having to restart my Pixel7 every now and then because hotspot button doesn't work from the locked screen, and the unlocked screen, after trying to switch the hotspot button on (it just makes the quick appearance that it wants to come on but doesn't); no matter how furiously I repeatedly try to switch it on.

I am, and have been, up to date with my GOS updates.
Any takers out there?

Generalaccountuse you cannot interact with hotspot quick tile if the device is locked. if some problems persist even while unlocked, do a long press on the quick tile to open the hotspot settings and you can turn on the hotspot from the toggle there, it will be easier than restarting the phone. Mind that the hotspot Amy seems to not work but it might be just that it take some seconds to be active and the quick tile to update.
