bootloader change to unlocked

I have graphene installed on Pixel 8
Have no access anymore to graphene as password forgotten
Trying to change to Android again and trying to unlock bootloader
Any suggestions how to unlock without going to graphene on startup ?

Factory reset the phone by pressing volume-up+power button when the phone is restarting. I think.

There is a menu that allows to factory reset

You can't. Try the following:

Enter bootloader interface - https://grapheneos.org/install/web#booting-into-the-bootloader-interface
Reset to factory defaults from there
Enable OEM unlocking - https://grapheneos.org/install/web#enabling-oem-unlocking
Revert back to stock by the procedure - https://grapheneos.org/install/web#replacing-grapheneos-with-the-stock-os

Not sure if Enable OEM unlocking is needed or covered by the rever to stock procedure

Tried by pressing volume up + power button, does not work, no factory reset menu
I like graphene, As i cannot enter because no password,i thought maybe solution to restore Android and eventually res-install graphene back

The factory reset option is not in bootloader/fastboot. It's in recovery. Boot to fastboot and from there too recovery.

The reply from Oggyo is missing steps: specifically how to enter recovery mode, where the factory reset is performed.

After a factory reset, can then use your phone with a fresh install of GrapheneOS. Of course, you will have lost all the apps and user data you stored on the phone.
