I have Sandboxed Google Play, installed via the GrapheneOS App Store, installed in a secondary profile on my Pixel 7. I've noticed that recently, the Google Play Store isn't updating itself anymore, and has remained on version 43.6.30-31
for about a month now.
Meanwhile, Google Play Services continues to update, today receiving version 24.49.33
.
If I try to manually trigger an update of the Google Play Store (opening the Play Store > Settings > About > Update Play Store), it just says that the Google Play Store is up to date.
I have the latest version of GrapheneOS installed (2024121200), along with the latest version of GmsCompatConfig (152) which supports Google Play Store version 44.0. It would seem as if I'm missing more than a couple Google Play Store updates, despite running the latest GOS updates.
Both the Play Store and Play Services have network access granted. Any apps that I have installed via the Play Store continue to update, along with Play Services.
I'm not aware of making any changes that'd prevent updating the Play Store, particularly since Play Services continues to update, and both have network permissions. Any thoughts?
Cheers!
