ParanoidAndroid21 Hi there my Pixel is Google account locked ( I have factory reset it ) , it means I have to either enter last known password for the specific device and log in to Google account with that phone. I can’t oem unlock it, any tips on that ? Thanks
AlphaElwedritsch You can boot into fastboot (Power + Volume Down, I think) and switch to recovery to do a factory reset. Booting into the system, giving Internet Access and do the OEM unlocking
DeletedUser87 AlphaElwedritsch he is talking about FRP. If you read carefully, you will see that he has performed a factory reset already. What he needs is a FRP bypass. I won't provide any information on that though, since it usually indicates that the device is stolen.
ParanoidAndroid21 AlphaElwedritsch Doesn’t work, Recovery Mode Factory Reset doesn’t remove that lock unfortunately. Issue is that , despite doing a factory reset upon restarting it will use Stock OS from a protected partition ( Google stores there that lock , that’s my guess ) . Thanks
ParanoidAndroid21 DeletedUser87 exactly i did perform a factory reset into Stock OS and later on Recovery mode. I think the only way is install it from ADB , but OMG can i get clear instructions somewhere ? I also need a verified file to flash into my device. I’m not downloading and installing without verifying the signatures. Thanks
DeletedUser87 ParanoidAndroid21 if the device is truly yours, it shouldn't pose a problem for you to just recover the Google account that was used on it. Any other method would be illegitimate and I won't recommend anything that would help circumvent these needed protections.
