esim IMS Not Registering

Installed Silent Link Plus eSim . 4636 info shows everything is connecting and roaming. The internet connects. BUT phone will NOT REGISTER to receive texts.
The SMS Tool Kit app is deactivated since its a Plus Plan.

Does anyone know any other settings to adjust?

SL support says change profiles, restart, wait 20m. Have done this many times and nothing happens. There's a strong signal bar, R for Roaming appears, the phone service shows in menu. Just NO REGISTRATION.

I recall the very first time when the esim was installed, a text arrived, saying the service was activated.
Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Check APN settings -> APN-type -> option 'ims'.
In my case it was 'inverted', because after un-checking IMS, I was registered for IMS again. You have to try it out.

So, check IMS. Save. Close. Reboot. Open again, uncheck? Then wait 20m?
There are two APN. One says Internet The other MMS. The Internet APN shows a check for default and supl.

Also, when the IMS says there's registration, do you receive a text from the carrier?
How else do you know if incoming texts are working before using it?

I don't receive any SMS/text from the carrier, if I'm registered for IMS or not. If not registered, VoWifi/VoLTE doesn't work and calls will be rejected. To check for IMS registration, dial ##4636## -> phone information -> 3-dot upper right -> IMS status.

I had to check AND un-check ims-option in APN settings several times, switching flight-mode on and off, to re-register for IMS service.

LTE appears. Signal shows triangle w/ letter R. In ##4696## settings, EVERYTHING connects and roams. But the 3 dot upper right - IMS - will not register. No registration.

Have tried various settings on/off without success:

Plus MMS
Mms ( it doesn't always light up)

Switched airplane mode on/off each time. Unsure what I am missing. Thank you for responding each time.
