My first post here ... just had to share ... what an awesome OS Graphene is. I've been on GOS for a little over a year now and it totally rocks. And if any of you have not donated yet you should - I have twice and will do it again this holiday season! It is obvious that these very talented folks are incredibly good at what they do. However, there are things that need attention, like a more capable backup utility, and better phone/calling history features. But look. I ain't here to nit pick. I love what has been done so far and I hope I am here for the long haul. But I'm old and ride motorcycles way to fast so my longevity is probably is questionable lol. Anyway I have been lurking here for a little over a year and figured it was time to share some love with the mods that do such a great job here and the entire programming team that is behind this project. What each of you do is not trivial so thank you all and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays or whatever applies in your culture at this time of year. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THIS FANTASTIC OS.

Agreed. Sometimes I think about complaining or blackpilling here, but then I remember how good GOS is (and how much I'd hate to have to use a Samsung phone), and the only thing I can say to the devs, contributors and forum users: thank you!

I couldn't agree more. For me personally there are times where I look back at other Operating Systems and how much they infuriate me for one reason or another.

The perfect Operating System does not exist whatsoever. But if I had to say which Operating System is closest to perfection it would have to be GrapheneOS.

From Security to Stability to Compatibility to Ease of use to Privacy to overall Usability to Control. It strikes a very amazing balance between all of those things despite the main focus being Privacy and Security. Whereas with other Operating Systems I personally have yet to find another OS that can actually match that level of rational balance.

GrapheneOS is the only Operating System that doesn't frustrate me whatsoever. Been a proud user for nearly a year now and I haven't found a single thing that makes me want to leave.
