My Pixel 8a has started rebooting itself shortly after I start it when I get up in the morning. I actually shut the device down overnight, which I understand is not that usual, and in the morning, I start it up and go prepare my breakfast. After a period of 1 minute or so, the device reboots.
I first noticed this on the morning after 2024120900 was installed, and has happened every morning since, including with 2024121200. That said, it's possible that it happened before that first time and I just never noticed.
The option "Automatic reboot" within "System update" is disabled.
The option "Auto reboot" within "Exploit protection" is now disabled, but was set to 18 hours. I turned this off attempting to pin-point why the device was rebooting, wondering if it was because of this option. However it has made no difference.
I've looked at the system log and there's nothing obvious in there, like a stacktrace, that I can see. The log is very lengthy and I don't know if it's a daily log that might capture any issue, or a log since boot which won't.
Any advice on what to look at next?
