Google Wallet required for some Sports events

I am trying to add some sports tickets to the Google Wallet. The tickets are of the ticketmaster moving barcode type. Hitting the "Add to Google Wallet" button produces at the bottom of the screen the error:

No activity found to handle intent
{ act=android.intent.action.VIEW dat=https://...

This would be OK as the bar code can be scanned and I would be able to get into the venue. BUT, I am now seeing some tickets that do not show the bar code and only have the "Add to Google Wallet" button. Presumably once added to the wallet, the moving barcode will show. My Ticketmaster account has a different email address to the gmail address that I use to log in to get Google Wallet running 9ie Google Wallet sees my logged-in Google account, Ticketmaster has a different email address for me). I have tried changing the ticketmaster account email address to match the Wallet email address. Ticketmaster is not allowing the email address change for some reason. Also, I have seen somewhere in the forums that that is not the source of this problem. My wallet has accepted other passes, so it is partially working.

Is anyone else having this trouble? Any help would be appreciated.

You're using the Ticketmaster app, right?

What permissions does the Ticketmaster app have?
Maybe try relaxing some of the Exploit Protection settings for the app?

Worst case scenario, from the Ticketmaster FAQ:

What if my phone breaks, dies or is lost/stolen before I arrive?
If you lose your phone, have a cracked screen, or run out of battery - don't worry. Simply visit the box office at the venue upon arrival. Have your ID and order number ready and you'll be issued a physical ticket.

Maybe its a hassle depending on the venue.
Probably the most privacy respecting way, though. Ticketmaster is an insane racket.

Hi zzz, thanks for the response. I assumed that Ticketmaster would deal with "worst case scenarios" but had not seen it in writing, thanks.
Actually, for the venue that I'm trying to get into they have, in their wisdom, made it more complicated. The venue is Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, run by Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. My Ticketmaster app does not show the tickets that I have purchased either on the phone app or on the website. You need to additionally download one or more of: Maple Leafs app; Raptors app; Scotiabank Arena app; Argos app etc. The ancillary apps are all tied to the Ticketmaster login, that is to say, the logins for the Leafs, Raptors etc. are the same as the Ticketmaster app. These apps will show tickets to their own sports and the Scotiabank Arena app shows all your tickets that pertain to that venue.
I have given these apps full permissions, also reinstalled them from the Play Store (not Aurora or F-droid). When trying to add these tickets to Google Wallet I am still getting the error:

No activity found to handle intent

Like I said earlier. This is really not a problem for most of the events as the moving barcode is revealed when you click on the ticket. But in at least one imminent case (Dec. 29 Raptors v. Falcons) the barcode is not revealed until the tickets are transferred to the Google wallet. I'm going to that game with my daughter, so I can transfer the tickets to her iPhone and they can be put into the Apple wallet. But I'd rather watch the game in peace rather than listen to a lecture about the benefits of natural monopolies like Google, and that it is time to stop bucking the inevitable and just reinstall Android.
So I'd really like to know if anyone else has run into this particular problem, or have I missed something.

I'm no expert on Android intents / events / actions/ IPC, to be sure.

This bit catches my eye:

Did you also try toggling the following Exploit Protection settings for each app? Its different from Permissions.
Exploit Protection Compatibility Mode -> On
Hardened Memory Allocator -> Off
(Etc)

Last check - this is all happening on the Owner profile, right? I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't work on secondary profiles.

They ultimately recommended Catima and Stocard.
Although its a slim hope, seems like those apps need to be passed files which Ticketmaster won't provide.

If all else fails, I think this one is worth finding a separate device for.
Maybe a cheap or old stock android device of yours, for purposes like this?
Better to give such invasive permissions to a bunch of corporate apps on a secondary device anyway, IMO.

The ticketing bs at some sporting events can be brutal, best of luck.

Good suggestion, I had forgotten about that. But after opening up the Exploit Protection settings on all of the apps and Google Wallet, there was no change in the behavior. I'm still getting the same error when trying to add the tickets to Google wallet. So yes, a second device may be the best solution to this problem.

I had some similar trouble not long ago, I couldn't get hockey or Metallica tickets to save. Try saving them to Google Wallet from incognito mode on Vanadium...it appears that adds them to your actual Google account, thereby populating them in your wallet app.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I do not see the tickets in the Ticketmaster app on the phone or in my Ticketmaster account on their website. So I can not save them to the wallet from Ticketmaster. The tickets have to go to the wallet from one of the Leafs, Raptors, or Scotiabank Arena apps.
But, I have found a solution. The Ticketmaster email address can not be changed to the Wallet gmail address, but a new Ticketmaster account can be set-up with an address the same as the wallet email address. So when logging in from one of Leafs, Raptors etc apps, it can be associated with the new Ticketmaster account, the tickets can then be put into the Google wallet. This is an obviously non-ideal setup. But it makes things workable. Thanks for taking the time to look at this.

I realize I was a little vague in the above reply. If anyone else has the same trouble, a bad but working solution is:
eg. moving Raptors tickets from your existing Ticketmaster account to the wallet
1] Create a new Ticketmaster account with the same email address as your wallet
2] Login to your old Ticketmaster account through the Raptors app
3] Transfer the tickets to your new Ticketmaster account using the wallet email address
4] Login to the new Ticketmaster account through the Raptors app
5] You ought to be able to move the tickets into your wallet now
6] Make sure all future tickets are sent to the new account address
