Which Mullvad VPN API?

Hello,

there are 3 API in Mullvad VPN, which are Direct, Mullvad Bridges and Encrypted DNS proxy. And I noticed that I can now select one as used method at the moment. I selected Encrypted DNS proxy as used method at the moment, but I was wondering which method was used before as standard and which I should use out of the 3 methods?

The Default method is Direct and is perfectly fine to use.

The other two are really just more so intended if something like say your ISP for example is trying to prevent you from connecting to Mullvad VPN servers. If you are connecting just fine with the direct option you should be fine just using that.

You could use the other options anyways but I'm not entirely sure how much that would benefit you if you don't need to circumvent VPN blocks.

Do someone selected Encrypted DNS proxy as their used method too? Or is Mullvad Bridge or Direct better? Or does my selected method get back to Direct after some time? Because I think that happened, but I'm not sure.
